Amaya's "Garden" B-day Party Mar. 13, 2010

Hi Mama,

I'm sorry it took some time to get these pictures to you, but what can I say? After all that partying, my Ninangs needed a little recuperation time! The set up was all Tita Bea's creative mind at work! I loved my jumper! Our "Go Green" souvenir consists of a reusable bag, packet of seeds, and a pot to grow it in. The beautiful centerpieces had water spouts filled with fresh flowers, a frame with my picture in it, a candle, and scattered pastel-colored chocolate kisses. Lola and Lolo took care of all the food and Ninang Nelly got the lechon (a roasted pig). Auntie Maria, Andy and Ninang Princess filled my dessert table with cupcakes, brownies and a delicious chocolate strawberry cake! I couldn't eat any of it, but my was it pretty. :) How we wish you could've been there.

Amaya's 1st Birthday!

Hello Mama,

I turned a year old today and can't wait for my very first birthday party this Sat.! My family is planning like crazy and I know I'll have plenty of pictures and stories to write about after the weekend. But for now, I'll rest up and say (just in case I forget to tell them later), "I had a great time!"

My Big B-day Surprise

My daughters wanted to do something extra special for my birthday this year and thought what better way to surprise me than to give me what I've always wanted...My very own Louis Vuitton bag. Here's a few photos of just how this beautiful moment unraveled before my eyes! -Love you, Maria

And then I saw the box! I couldn't wait to open it!

I needed a moment to catch my breath! (I didn't want to cry on the bag).

You know we couldn't walk out of there without putting it back in the box! Look I even had my own personal bodyguard.

Happy 2010 Mama & Papa!

Hi Mama & Papa,

Happy New Year! It's my very first New Year so my Lolo took me to see the Pasadena Rose Parade.


Flowers, flowers everywhere and not a petal to pick!

We also got a glimpse of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim float! Go Angels! My mommy & daddy are huge baseball fans. But me? Oh, I just like to throw things & make a mess!

I had fun just watching so many people gather around to see all the beautiful floats and loud marching bands! It was a bright, sunny and colorful day and I couldn't have asked for a better way to ring in 2010!
